Harry Kane is the clubs only outright striker. Although Chadli and Son can fill in for those spots, its not a position they would have be forced to alter in the dying stages of this season especially with the striker in superb form, chasing the golden boot.
His link up play with Delle Alli has been a big plus for the team. The duo have won Spurs numerous games this season and Pochetino would hope that this continues till the side finally and hopefully cross all hurdles and get that Premier League trophy.
Other than the goal scorers, Moussa Dembele is a player who had proven to be a crucial cog in Pochetino’s pressing system. Without the Belgian, Spurs midfield look very toothless. They lose their punch and audacity to win the ball back. The fitness level of the Belgian is going to be a key part of the chances that Spurs have to win the Premier League.
In defence, Trippier and Davies both have found themselves on the plus side of Pochetino’s rotation policy but should this continue? Spurs are left in only the one competition now and with that being the most important, Spurs should stick with their best combination for the final 4. Kyle Walker and Rose offer much more experience but Trippier’s crossing is something that Spurs could definitely use in games that opposition teams look to narrow out and frustrate the strikers. That right back slot should be changed regarding the tactics of the opposition in question.
