Chelsea Transfers: 3 Super Talents Jose Should Consider Recalling ASAP

Share

Things have not gone well for the champions of England, who have struggled for consistency right through this season. Jose Mourinho has tried almost everything, yet there has not been any sort of drastic change in his side’s performance till now and the Blues are still looking to improve with every game that passes by. Currently at 14th place on the points table, with 15 points from 15 games, only a miracle now would propel the west London side to a league win or even a top four finish, though neither seem likely.

However, the Portuguese boss will try his best to get the Premier League giants up the points table, as much as possible.

Here are three possible loaned players that Chelsea can possibly recall from their loan spells in the January transfer window:

3. Nathaniel Chalobah:

Nathaniel Chalobah

The versatile nature of the England U-21 international’s style of play might see the Blues recall him back to Stamford Bridge, as he can play both as a midfielder and a defender. At just the age of 21, the Englishman has already been at a long list of clubs, including some former Premier League sides as well.

Chalobah is currently at Serie A outfit Napoli and could be back soon with Chelsea stars going through some really poor form this season. Both the defence and midfield need to be strengthened in order to win games and the youngster could make a difference.

2. Wallace Oliveira dos Santos:

Another player who could be back soon in west London is Wallace Oliveira dos Santos, who is a full back and currently with Serie A side Carpi. The one quality that Jose Mourinho might look to make ample use of could be the fact that he can play both as a left-back and a right-back as well.

The Brazilian U-20 international could be quite handy, with Branislav Ivanovic not having the best of seasons and Mourinho experimenting with the left-back position as well at times. The 21-year-old defensive superstar could be used as a potential cover for Cesar Azpilicueta as well, with Baba Rahman not showing consistency with his play.

1. Patrick Bamford:

One more player who has the potential to turn things around for the Portuguese manager’s side is 22-year-old forward Patrick Bamford, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace. The youngster has been itching to get a first team opportunity for the Londoners, though has not been given one yet.

He could be back in west London soon, with Diego Costa exit speculations going around for quite some time and inconsistency in form shown by the attacking set of players in the side.
