Chelsea Transfer News: Three Players Leave Chelsea Even Before The Arrival Of Conte

Share

Three players have Chelsea even before the arrival of Antonio Conte. The Italian manager just recently became available after Italy lost to Germany in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016.

Alexandre Pato, Radamel Falcao and Marco Amelia are three player who have left the club as their loan deals expired on Friday. Falcao will head back to Monaco after his failed attempt to seal a move for Manchester United and later Chelsea. Unfortunately the Colombian could not recapture his lethal form that he displayed at Porto and Atletico Madrid. Alexandre Pato spent 6 months at Chelsea but went on to make only two appearances for the Blues and scoring one goal from the spot.  Marco Amelia was signed on a short-term deal while Thiabut Courtois was injured and has not made a single appearance for Chelsea during his tenure. The club has made official announcement on the departure of these players that read,

“With contracts having come to an end, we today say farewell to three players who were part of the squad during last season – Falcao, Pato and Marco Amelia. Chelsea Football Club thanks the players for their contributions and wishes them success in the future.”
