Chelsea Opinion: 4 Players Who Should Be Shown The Exit Door

Share

If there is anyone who seems to be the king of the transfer market, it has to be Jose Mourinho. His wheeling-dealing ways have seen Chelsea sell a lot of their players for some crazy prices and that hasn’t had a negative effect on Chelsea, in fact, it has only made them better and stronger.

Chelsea start this season without making huge splashes in the transfer market, they have only made the modest signings of Asmir Begovic and Radamel Falcao, the Colombian joining on loan. This might be a ploy by Chelsea to first sell some of the deadwood before signing any player. We look at a few players who should be sold by Chelsea before the end of this transfer window.

Marko Marin

Many won’t remember him, but he was touted at one time as the German Messi, yup, but the career of Marko Marin has gone downhill faster than a scoop of ice cream running down your hand on a warm summer day. Marin spent last season on loan, yet again, this time at Sevilla and well there really is no future for the German at Chelsea so why keep him? Sell him off when you still can make a decent amount out of it.

Loic Remy

This one might be a little tricky, but Remy didn’t really get a lot of games last season for Chelsea and after the signing of Radamel Falcao that seems even more likely. The French striker could be out of the club after just one season as he looks for more regular football. Remy isn’t the worst striker in the world either but he does need to move and fast in case he wants to make it into the French national team for good.

Victor Moses

The winger has spent the last two seasons on loan away from Stamford Bridge and although Jose Mourinho rates the attacker, there is no guarantee that Moses would get a chance to represent Chelsea anytime in the future. It is best that Chelsea cut their losses and sell the 24-year-old Nigerian and fast.

Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian signed for Chelsea in hopes of making it into the first XI, but he was shipped out for a loan spell at Fiorentina. The winger might not have a future at Chelsea this season either and there have been talks of a transfer permanently to Fiorentina. It is another tale of a talent being wasted at Chelsea, but hopefully he can revive his career at another club.
