Arsenal are four points clear at the top of the premier league ahead of second placed Liverpool. They will be looking to extend their lead at the top with a win over Cardiff City on Saturday.
After a defeat at Old Trafford, Arsenal came back strongly with a hard fought victory over a good Southampton side, last week. Meanwhile, Cardiff are also on good form of their own. They drew with the defending champions 2-2 on last Sunday.
Cardiff had already defeated Manchester City in their home. So, Arsenal have to be on their strict guard to guarantee three points that will extend their lead to seven points (at least till tomorrow)
Cardiff will miss Rudy Gestede due to an injury. Kim Bo-Kyung and Craig Bellamy are expected to start the game for the home side.
For Arsenal, Jack Wilshere is expected to start ahead of Theo Walcott (who recovered from injury recently). Gibbs is also declared fit but Monreal will mostly start as he was excellent against Marseille in the mid week.
Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Ryo Miyaichi are the long term absentees.
Cardiff: Marshall; Taylor, Caulker, Turner, Theophile-Catherine; Medel, Whittingham, Mutch, Bellamy; Odemwingie, Campbell
Arsenal: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Wilshere, Ozil; Santi Cazorla, Rosicky, Giroud
