Share

ESPN has reported that Arsenal are prepared to sign Moussa Demebele on a free transfer. The French player has been considered a target for Chelsea for quite some time.

Moussa Dembele has been one of the standout performers in the Championship and has scored 15 goals in 43 games. Additionally he also has 6 assists to his name. Fulham, his current club has been trying to renew his contract bu has failed to reach an agreement with the player and he will become available for a free transfer next months.

This has become a lucrative option for many Premier League clubs and Chelsea was showing interest in signing the player but now Arsenal have joined the race too. Arsene Wenger feels that Dembele will be a suitable replacement for Danny Welbeck. Apart from these two clubs, Juventus, Liverpool, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also observing the player. Chelsea had earlier invited Dembele to Stamford Bridge as a special guest for their match against Manchester City.
