And after a rather slow start this term, Alli has hit top form and has already bettered his goals tally from last year, scoring 11 goals along with 2 assists.

Eight of his eleven strikes have come since the second week of December, post Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester United. During this period, Tottenham have won all but one of their seven games, drawing their weekend encounter against Manchester City, in which Alli scored the crucial first goal for his team after they looked down and out at 2-0.
