Reports from Germany claim that Arsenal are still interested in signings Lars Bender and they will do all their best to sign him during the January transfer window.

Bayer Leverkusen rejected Arsenal’s £19million bid just two months ago. But if Arsenal increase their bid to £25million in the next window, it will definitely tempt Bayer Leverkusen to sell their midfield enforcer.

Lars Bender is a versatile player who can play in many positions (DM, CM and even as right back if needed). He has a very high work rate which will help him to settle quickly in the  premier league league. He can also do a bit of play making from the deep midfield areas and also has good interception and tackling skills to stop and disrupt opponent’s attack. He is more like a Box-to-Box player who loves to influence all areas of the pitch.

Bender would be a very good addition to the gunners. He is just 23 years of age and could still develop in one of the best midfielders in the world under the guidance of Arsene Wenger. His partnership with the likes of Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey and Jack Wilshere could bring back the glory days for the North London club.
