Arsenal Daily: Sagna’s Hidden Goodbye And Wilshere Interview

Share

Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna gave an emotional interview to Arsenal’s official website. He talked about his life at the North London club and how he consider Arsenal as his family.

Sagna’s hidden goodbye to Arsenal fans

He said,

“It has been magic. I’ve enjoyed a lot playing for Arsenal and I still love it, Every time I go to the pitch, I just give 100 per cent for the team.”

“Arsenal is like my family. My personal family is in France but I feel at home here, I feel happy to come training and I feel relaxed. There are not many big clubs where you feel that confident.”

These emotional statements may just be like a hidden goodbye to Arsenal fans. His contract talks are not progressing at the moment and chances of him leaving the gunners (to Serie A) is very high. But if Arsenal sell Sagna, they will be just having Jenkinson as the direct replacement. Where is the backup? Conservative Arsenal!

Meanwhile Jack Wilshere who made the comeback recently after a brief injury spell defends Wenger’s transfer policy.

“The boss (Wenger) has done excellently. He’s bought well. These players are proper footballers – they understand our game”

“To play with someone like Santi Cazorla is so easy. He understands football, even little things like the pace of the pass he gives you, and his movement is outstanding.”

“You look at someone like Lukas Podolski, he’s got over 100 caps for his country.”

“They’re top players and it’s easy to come into a team where they understand football so well,” he said.
