Tottenham Hotspur Player Ratings vs Chelsea: Here’s how Spurs fared

Tottenham Hotspur cruised their way to a 3-1 win against Chelsea in the Premier League in a one-sided game at Wembley stadium. Spurs took an early lead through Dele Alli’s header via a Christian Eriksen free-kick.

Harry Kane then saw his long-range effort hit the back of the net. Heung-Min Son handed the icing on the cake with a sublime solo goal that lit up Wembley on the night.

Chelsea got one back through Olivier Giroud but it proved to be a mere consolation.

Here’s how the Spurs stars fared in their win over Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur Player Ratings

Hugo Lloris (6/10)

He was largely untroubled and barely had anything to do on the night. Chelsea barely caused any sorts of problems.

Hugo Lloris

Serge Aurier (7/10)

He made a shaky start to the game but slowly grew into it and then looked confident al game.

Juan Foyth (7/10)

Once again looked dominant at the back for Tottenham. Easily dealt with Alvaro Morata.

Toby Alderweireld (7/10)

Orchestrated the defence well and made a number of vital challenges. He came very close to scoring as well.

Ben Davies (7/10)

A much better display from Davies who seemed slightly lacklustre since the start of the new season. He was solid tonight.

Eric Dier (6/10)

Controll the midfield and put in a decent shift for the team.

Moussa Sissoko (9/10)

Another superb performance from the French midfielder who was arguably the best player on the pitch. He was a massive presence in the midfield and worked really hard.

Christian Eriksen (8/10)

Terrific passing and distribution. Looked good after returning from injury.

Christian Eriksen

Dele Alli (7/10)

Looked dangerous all game and took his chance well to head the ball into the back of the net. He linked up well with Eriksen and Kane in the final third.

Son Heung-Min (8/10)

Rounded David Luiz and Jorginho to score a stupendous solo goal that he will surely remember for a while. Looked confident.

Harry Kane (7/10)

Did well up front and created tons of chances. Took his shot well to score the goal in this game.

Substitutes

Erik Lamela (6/10)

Came on and played out a few simple passes. He was tasked with seeing out the game and he ensured that.
