Burnley must gear up for a new adventure after making it back to Europe this season. The Clarets have returned after a 51-year wait and Sean Dyche has done a splendid job at Turf Moor, with his well-drilled Burnley side defying all odds last season.

Burnley have been linked with Stoke City striker Peter Crouch over the last few days. He has made a total of 202 appearances for the Potters, scoring 45 goals in that time. The striker has also been capped 42 times by the England national team.
The 37-year-old is a tall and agile striker whose dominant presence in the box makes it hard for opposition defenders. Crouch has the ability to surprise anyone with his ability on the ball. He is a master at winning aerial balls and crosses while also posing a huge threat from set-pieces.
He made a total of 31 appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists in that time. However, his efforts were not enough to save the Potters from the drop.

It’s clear that the 37-year-old cannot expect a regular role in the Clarets’ squad but he will provide ample cover for the likes of Chris Wood, Sam Vokes and Ashley Barnes.
