3 Rising Premier League Stars Who Can Make It Big (In Future) Featuring Southampton And Tottenham Stars

Share

The Premier League is blessed with some of the biggest clubs in the world who are filled up to the brim with talent. Not only do the teams buy the best players in the world, they also have set academies which keep on producing the best young talent. Pogba, Sterling, Barkley are just some of the players who have come out from the youth system in England or at least graduated from them.

So it is time to look at the next generation of young stars who are coming through the ranks at various clubs, we will now look at 3 players who could become the next big time in the Premier League and probably take the world by storm.

1. James Ward-Prowse

The Southampton academy must be using some sort of cerebro version similar to what Professor X uses for the X-Men. The club has been churning out top talent for the past few years with the likes of Walcott, Bale, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana and now we can add a certain Ward-Prowse to that list. The midfielder has already played a few games for the Saints this season and with so many players having left, he could become a huge part of the team.

Ward-Prowse has almost everything you need in a midfielder in the modern game, he can link up with the attack, play in a deeper play making position or can stay out on the wings to cross all day into the penalty box, it won’t be long before a bid does come in for the youngster.

2. Ben Davies

The Welsh left back made the switch from Swansea to Tottenham and has already made an impact and become somewhat of a regular having already made 17 appearances for the club in the League and Europa League.

Davies is just 21 years old and although he has often been overshadowed by other attackers in the league, this could be the season for him to make a break through. Pochettino has a habit of trusting his young players, look at Harry Kane and if Davies continues to provide stellar performances for Spurs, he could become one of the best left backs in the league.

3. Rolando Aarons

The 19 year old English winger is one to look out for, Newcastle seem to have unearthed a jewel with the youngster, he had a brilliant preseason for the Magpies and then played an instrumental role in the 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace as he scored one goal and assisted another.

Aarons is like your traditional winger, he has pace and dribbling ability and loves to stick about in the wings. He loves to take on the full backs hoping to beat them with skill and then provide that killing ball and with a new manager coming in at Newcastle it will be interesting to see how he does with the new manager, hopefully his development will not stop due to any managerial decisions, the ball is in Aarons’ court.
