He has 41 appearances in all competitions this season for Monaco and is slowly growing in stature. All French midfield:

Conte has used the likes of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas alongside the N’Golo Kante in the midfield this season but neither of them have been able to convince the manager about their abilities to partner Kante. Conte would be keen on spending on a midfielder this summer and Bakayoko is an excellent option in many ways.
