3 Future Stars Arsenal Should Sign In Summer : Scouting From My Game Console To You

Share

In January, Arsenal failed to bring in any top names as they only managed to sign Swedish international Kim Kallstrom. Wenger may face some criticism for lack of activity in the January market, but what people need to understand is most of the teams don’t prefer selling players in middle of the season, so obviously finding the right player in January is not an easy task.

With the new Puma deal, Arsenal will have more than enough resources to sign their missed targets in Summer. But who should Arsenal sign? Today, we will scout three future stars Wenger should look at in Summer. To make this more engaging, we won’t using stats from squawka or other websites to justify the players. For a change, the players will be directly scouted from my game console, from FIFA 14 (PS3).

3. Lars Bender

Lars Bender

Lars Bender is a modern version of a box-to-box player. He can both defend and also contribute to attack by distributing passes for his team mates. He is also known for his engine-like work rate. His high/high work rate in FIFA 14 proves  that. He also got a stamina rating of 94 which shows how tireless he can work through-out the match. He got an dribbling rating of 73 which is some what unfair in my opinion. He got decent ball control and dribbling skills in real life, which means he has all the required attributes to be a good replacement for Arteta.

2. Stephan El Shaarawy

El Shaarawy

With AC Milan struggling to cope with other top teams in Serie A, their wonder kid Stephan El Shaarawy may leave the sinking ship in order to play for a team with champions league status. We feel moving to Arsenal would do wonders for the Italian trickster. His 87 ball control, 88 agility with flair trait shows how technically strong he is. El Shaarawy also possess good pace and acceleration (86,88) which will suit Arsenal who are known for their fast paced counter-attacking moves. His work rate is also good (84 stamina). EA gave him 3 stars skills moves which is again unfair as he has got bags of tricks in his armory. Overall, he will be a top signing for the Gunners.

1. Julian Draxler

Draxler

Even though Wenger claimed that Draxler transfer saga was nothing but a work of media, it is believed that Wenger is a long-term admirer of the Germany’s rising star. Media tipped him to be the next Robin van Persie because of the similarities in playing styles of both the players. In FIFA 14 FUT, surprisingly, he is a non rare card, rated 80. But he is so over powered that he plays better than many similarly rated rare cards. His 85 dribbling and ball control shows that he can twist and turn against any top defenders in the world. His traits includes Finesse Shot, Flair, and Long Shot Taker. Overall a top player who will be targeted by many more clubs in Summer. If he had a good World Cup, his price may increase too. So, Arsenal should try to seal the deal before other clubs comes into the picture.

We are planning to do these type of articles for other teams under a series “Scouting From My Game Console To You“. Any feedback? Please feel free comment below.
