Felipe Anderson has been on Manchester United radar for a long time now. United offered a £37.6m to Lazio for the player in January which was rejected by the club. According to Fichajes, Anderson is still in United’s radar and the Red Devils may try to sign the player again in the summer despite a not so satisfactory season for the Brazilian.
While Lazio’ sporting director Igli Tare regrets not having accepted Manchester United’s offer for the player as their original plan was to end the season with the same set of players who started the season for Lazio. This would have resulted into an increase in the value of players. However rejecting United’s offer of 50 million Euros and Felipe Anderson’s underwhelming performance will not be a favorable step for Lazio and they have to offer a discounted price in order to cash in on the player.
While Tare is disappointed on not selling the player and using the money to strengthen the team further.
