Manchester United keeper Victor Valdes has posted some tweets on his Twitter account recently to thank the fans of the Premier League outfit for their support during his present situation at the club. After a move away from Old Trafford broke down prior to deadline day, the former Barcelona man now finds himself in a strange situation, as he is an unwanted luxury for manager Louis van Gaal.
The recent spat with the Dutch boss, might see the 33-year old become United’s fourth choice keeper, even if does decide to stay.
The situation was so intense that Valdes was not even given a squad number and has just been a mere spectator this season and was not even provided the formality of a club suit.
With David De Gea at the club for at least one more season and Sergio Romero the present first choice, it looks as if the Spaniard will just have a season of training ahead of him, unless he can move elsewhere in the January transfer window.
