Danny Welbeck returned to the pitch after being out of action for 10 months due to injury for yesterday’s match against Leicester City and well his was one of the goals for Arsenal’s victory by 2-1 against the foxes.

Following the incredible goal by Welbeck with Mesut Ozil assist, Rio Ferdinand posted a tweet stating:

“Welbeck……..i ain’t even going to start…..happy for Welbz but how @manutd let him go”- Rio Ferdinand.

Born in Manchester Welbeck joined Arsenal in 2014 from Manchester United. The English International striker moved to the Emirates in a £16 million pound deal.

With an excellent goal it is pretty obvious that Welbeck is set to return with a bang to the Gunners and his form during the match against Leicester City has ensured of the same.

Seems like his come-back in yesterday’s match has made Rio Ferdinand wonder as to how the Red Devils let Welbeck leave the Old Trafford and join Arsenal. An answer to that well we do know, not everyone is as smart as Arsene Wenger and in this case, Louis Van Gaal got billed in.
