Arsenal fans have been asking for a big name signing for several years now. We are unsure if this can be considered as a big name signing but the Gunners have reportedly opened fresh talks with Inter Milan for Marcelo Brozovic.
According to The Metro, the English runner-up have opened fresh discussion over the transfer of the midfielder. The Gunners had initially shown interest in the player but was put off by the massive asking price of £25 million. The Croatia international is a central midfielder and Arsenal have already purchased Granit Xhaka so it remains to be seen if they will want to spend again on another midfielder.
Arsenal currently have a talented midfield section with the likes of Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey, Wilshere all capable of contributing considerably. Many feel that the Gunners need a defender and a striker more but the report above says that another midfielder is being chased.
