Why Manchester United Should Approve A Loan Move For This Attacker To Celtic – Could Benefit All The Parties

James Wilson Would Benefit By Securing A Loan Move To Celtic And Man Utd Should Consider The Prospect

Manchester United’s young gun James Wilson is regarded as one of the best young strikers, and he has been linked with a loan move to Celtic in the past. But here is why he could possibly be a worthy option for Celtic to re-visit. The striker has had a number of Championship clubs interested in him but Wilson could do well if he were to move to Celtic on loan.

Wilson did see a decline in game time for a while since he had to be patient while recovering from a knee-ligament injury that struck him a year ago during a loan spell at Derby County. A number of clubs, both in the Premier League and the second tier were interested in him during the summer. However, the Red Devils hierarchy deemed it better for Wilson to remain at Old Trafford in order for him to hit peak fitness.

Having said that, a potential temporary switch could be on the cards once more ahead of the January transfer window. Moreover, Wilson is now fully fit after suffering a knee ligament damage a year ago. He has played 15 times for United and has found the net on 3 occasions. In fact, most of his action has come in the Championship with Brighton. He bagged 5 in 25 matches for the Seagulls during a season-long loan in the 2015/16 campaign.

Celtic have already taken Tyler Blackett on loan from United before and the player did improve his skills. Jose Mourinho is likely to be open to the idea of letting Wilson develop at Celtic Park. Wilson would definitely benefit from a spell at Celtic as he continues to learn his trade. However, it would perhaps be wise for United to include a call-back option in the event of unforeseen circumstances concerning injuries.

Wilson is one of the brightest young English prospects, and his talent in front of the goal will certainly help the forward make a name for himself at Celtic. With a keen eye for goals, Wilson’s development is continuing in the right direction and it is clear to see that he has a fine future ahead of him – which can only be cultivated further if he joins Celtic on a loan deal.

Since the club have been interested in him before, Celtic could consider reviving their interest in him to boost their options up front, which would work in favour of all parties involved.
