Predicted Huddersfield Town Line-up To Face Everton In The Premier League

Huddersfield Town welcome Everton on Saturday as they hope to earn three points and edge closer to safety.

The Terriers sit on 35 points with four matches to go this campaign, 6 points clear of Southampton and Stoke City, who are both in the relegation zone.

Huddersfield need at least 42 points to ensure survival this campaign. They face Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal in their final three games, after hosting Everton this Saturday.

Hence, the game against the Toffees is vital as David Wagner aims to keep Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.

Probable Huddersfield XI

Manager: David Wagner

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jonas Lossl (GK)

Lossl continues to be a solid presence for Huddersfield in goal and will look to keep a clean sheet against Everton.

Florent Hadergjonaj (RB)

Hadergjonaj has been effective at right-back for the Terriers. Be it attacking or defending, he does his job very cleanly and is likely to retain his spot this weekend.

Mathias Jørgensen

Christopher Schindler (CB)

Schindler is an integral part of the Terriers side this season. He inspires a lot of confidence and is expected to start against Everton.

Mathias Jorgensen (CB)

Alongside Schindler, Jorgensen has been a reliable presence at the back. The duo has formed a strong back-line, meaning they are likely to feature again.

Terence Kongolo (LB)

Kongolo is primarily a centre-back but since joining the Terriers on loan from Monaco, Wagner has used him at left-back. The player has done well and his presence will be crucial in keeping Theo Walcott at bay.

Jonathan Hogg (CM)

Hogg adds a lot of steel and bite to Huddersfield’s midfield. He has been extremely crucial in dictating the tempo of the game and establishing control in the midfield area.

Aaron Mooy (CM)

Mooy is one of the most important players in the Huddersfield squad. Although his influence in the second half of the season has faded a bit, he still remains a vital cog in the team’s machine and should start on Saturday.

Collin Quaner (RW)

Quaner’s blistering pace and skill set makes him such a dangerous player. He provides width, provides a different flair to the attack and is always a tricky customer to face.

Alex Pritchard (CAM)

The January signing from Norwich, Pritchard has made an immediate impact at the John Smith stadium. A nippy and skilful player, the former Spurs man will be a crucial figure in unlocking Everton’s defence.

Steve Mounie

Rajiv van La Parra (LW)

The Dutchman has delivered the goods but needs to bring more consistency to his game. He has displayed good form in the last few weeks, which could see him get another shot at the weekend.

Steve Mounie (ST)

Leading the Terriers’ attack will be Benin international, Steve Mounie. He would be desperate to add to his goals tally in his debut season in England. With his fantastic pace and power, he will be a handful for the Everton defence.
