Vorm: Arsenal Are Scared Of Us

Share

Arsenal bowed out of the champions league even after winning 2-0 against Bayern Munich yesterday. But they can take some pride and confidence from the game which can be helpful in their pursuit for top four spot in the premier league. Arsenal face Swansea next in the league.

But the mind games are already started as Swansea goal keeper teased Arsenal that they are scared to face them and they won’t qualify for the Champions League next season.

Vorm said,

“A lot of teams are fighting for those top four places – but I don’t think Arsenal are going to make it this time around.”

“They don’t like to play against us because they know what we are capable of. If we play to our best we can beat anybody.”

“Arsenal is a game that suits us as we aren’t afraid of anybody. It’s more that they are afraid of us because they know how well we can play. And they also know they can’t lose games now as there are a lot of good teams around them.”

“This is such an important game because, even though we have 40 points, we want more wins to make sure we’ve had a very good season. It will help us that Arsenal played in Munich, as everyone knows how hard it is when you have to play midweek matches as well. Mentally that is very tough. But we have to play our own game.”

The match will be a treat to watch for neutrals as both the team love to play attacking football with lot of short passes. The Swans have already beaten Arsenal twice and they are looking for a hat-trick of wins over them. Meanwhile Arsenal are desperate for three points as they cannot afford any more slip ups. Arsenal are now 5th in the league, five points behind Chelsea.
