With all the euphoria of Arsenal signing Alexis Sanchez still very much there, the Arsenal fans are expecting two or three more signings which they believe will be crucial to being serious contenders for the Premier League title. While the signing of Alexis Sanchez is truly a statement of intent which is a very credible follow up from the Mesut Ozil transfer last season, there are some obvious voids in the Arsenal squad which needs addressing before the new season starts.
If AFC wrap up deals with Alexis Sanchez & Debuchy, & get Khedira, which I hear is possible, they could well win the title.

We at Soccersouls take a look at the three players Arsenal need to get in order to make it a successful campaign next season.
The one obvious buy which is apparently a done deal and will be unveiled on Monday. A quality right back was essential to replace Bacary Sagna and in Mathieu Debuchy Arsenal have made the best of what could have been a potential disaster in waiting. It’s always a blow to lose one of your most influential players on a free but Arsene Wenger has indeed made sure to pick up an equally experienced right back to ensure that there is no struggling transition period. While his initial career at Newcastle United was fraught with errors, he was a much better player as his career in the Premier League progressed. Also Arsenal fans can take heart from the fact that Mathieu Debuchy is the first choice right back at the French national team ahead of the departing Bacary Sagna, so obviously he must be doing something right.

While the Alexis Sanchez signing was indeed great on the heart, a lot of it will go to waste if Arsenal are not able to find someone suitable to do the holding midfield job. While Sami Khedira is not the typical defensive midfielder and is rather the anchor man Arsenal could do with someone like him screening the back four. His huge experience and his undoubted talent means that Arsenal will have another world class talent at their disposal. If reports are to be believed Sami Khedira has rejected a new contract at Real Madrid and wants to join his national teammate Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.
Although Khedira maynot be as effective as the likes of Javi Martinez, Lars Bender and Morgan Schneiderlin as he is not your typical dirty minded defensive midfielder and is more of a box to box central midfielder with a knack of winning the ball back, his presence could certainly be a boost and add to the German contingency at Arsenal. It is a known fact that both Mertesacker and Ozil are on great terms with the Real Madrid midfielder evident from their International camps, which could mean that Ozil will have someone alongside him whom he knows in and out. A mixture of British and German core at the Emirates could make life easier for Wenger.

The one transfer which is arguably the most important for Arsenal is that of Loic Remy. While Alexis Sanchez can play in the position of a striker, his best position at the moment is on the wings and he would have to be moulded into a striker by Arsene Wenger. Olivier Giroud is the only option that Arsenal has upfront and the Frenchman can help Olivier Giroud greatly in sharing the burden upfront. Loic Remy is a class talent who can bang in the goals for fun and with the services around him, he should fare really well at the North London club. He would not be very costly for a player as talented as him and Arsenal should not have any hesitation in snapping him up.
Signing Remy could mean that Arsenal can go back to their counter attacking football, which were so dominant during the days of Henry and Pires. With the pace that Walcott, Sanchez, Ozil and Remy have, they could form a devastating partnership upfront.
