Transfer Update: Ex Manager Wants To Lure This Chelsea Striker Away From Stamford Bridge

Chelsea Transfer Update

According to the latest reports, the former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas wants to take Radamel Falcao on loan to Zenit St Petersburg after the Colombian international has struggled at Stamford Bridge. The 29-year-old striker who was signed to play second fiddle to Spanish international Diego Costa has once again failed to make an impact after a miserable season on loan at Manchester United.

Villas-Boas was keen on signing the former Porto and Atletico Madrid man in the summer though Monaco’s financial demands were too high and a deal did not go through.

However, he has not given up and now hopes to bring Falcao once the January transfer window opens, as he looks to strengthen his squad.

With the way things are at the moment for the attacker in west London, it seems a move away from the Premier League might be his best chance to get regular football and it will be quite interesting to see what happens next.
