There are not many players in the world who can boast a resume like Sami Khedira. The German has won the Champions League, La Liga and more importantly, he has won the World Cup as he was part of the German team in last summer’s tournament. The 27 year old could become key to Arsenal’s midfield problems especially with the likes of Arteta, Rosicky and Flamini not getting any younger, a 27 year old, well rested Khedira could be brilliant for the Gunners.
He had been one of the best players for Real until this season and was a major lynchpin for Germany until injury got the better of him. The German might not have played as many games as he would have liked, but a new challenge in a new country could be the perfect fill up for him.
Khedira still has a lot to offer when it comes to playing and getting a regular run of games for a club could actually change his issues related to form and fitness. The German is on the radar for a lot of other Premier League clubs, but Arsenal still have the chips in place thanks to their history of having German players, they have Mertesacker & Ozil while Podolski is away on loan to Inter Milan, but he has also stated that he could be back next season.
