Celtic FC news: Celtic are eyeing up a move for Bournemouth forward Lys Mousset, according to theDaily Mail.
The Hoops are reluctant to cash in on the entire release clause of £10million, instead, they are looking to offload players as a part of the exchange.
Mousset hasn’t had the best impact since joining the Cherries in 2016. Having played more than 50 games and mostly as a substitute, the centre-forward has only scored 5 goals.
The French youngster rose to prominence through Ligue 2 side Le Havre, where he also spent his youth years.
He has earned 8 caps for the France U-21 side and netted a total of 5 goals.
The Celts are looking to strengthen their attack in order to contend for continental glory.
Odsonne Edouard has been pivotal for the Hoops title run this season, bagging a goal tally of 25. Yet, he remains the sole option for Neil Lennon, whereas players like Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah are set to return after unsuccessful loan spells.
Though it looks difficult for Mousset to beat Edouard in the first place, he would be a great back-up for his fellow country-man.
The Hoops will face Hearts in the Scottish Cup final next week.
