Transfer ban? No problem – 3 Chelsea loan stars who can help the Blues deal with the ban including 25-goal machine

Chelsea opinion: Three on-loan stars who can help the Blues next season

The ban is confirmed (BBC). Chelsea will not be able to sign any new players for two transfer windows starting this summer.  However, they can sign players below the age of 16 but that will not help the club with any of their immediate goals.

They need some of the best players to make a real difference. That will hurt the Blues but they have an army of loan stars at their disposal. From Michy Batshauyi, Victor Moses, and even Kenedy. All of them are out on loan along with 40 odd other players.

This gives them a large variety of stars to choose from. Here are three players who can make a difference for the club.

Tiemoue Bakayoko

He’s had a brilliant season on-loan with AC Milan in the Serie A and while it looked like he could make the move permanent, things might change.

A recent spat with manager Gennaro Gattuso could see Bakayoko return to Chelsea. Given his performances and ability to rule a midfield, clearly, the Blues need someone like that to help them out.

With someone like the 23-year-old waiting on the wings, the Blues could switch over and maybe give him another chance.

Tammy Abraham

He’s had an absolutely sensational season in the Championship this season, showing the world just what he can do when given regular game-time. So far, Tammy Abraham has managed to net 25 goals in the Championship alone, providing three assists as well.

Abraham has shown that he can be a very good front-man and Chelsea need a reliable striker with Alvaro Morata and even Gonzalo Higuain struggling to do much.

Given the wide range of options that the Blues have out on loan, Abraham is by far the best choice.

Christian Pulisic

He signed for Chelsea in January but was immediately loaned back to Borussia Dortmund, with him arriving in the summer. With Eden Hazard flirting with a move to Real Madrid, the 20-year-old is arguably their best option to replace the Belgian superstar.

Very versatile, the young American has played all over the field for Dortmund since making his debut. In fact, he’s even played as a right-back/right wing-back for a few games over the last few years, which shows just how far he will go for the team.

However, his biggest issue is consistency and his lack of goals over the last few seasons. If Pulisic sorts that out, then the Blues have a superstar on their hands.

Siddhant Lazar

Tom Landry once said "Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it's so incredible, it's unbelievable." Football is and always will be the beautiful game. What every child understands, yet every adult struggles to, is that it is a game that defines the nature of the universe. But that's just me.
