Tottenham Hotspur host Hull City on Wednesday Night at White Hart Lane in the Premier League midweek fixture. Spurs will have a little time on their hands to dwell on the 0-1 defeat at Machester United on Sunday. They have been in good form overall in the season and are placed fifth in the league table. Hull City, on the other hand, cannot afford to drop any more points, as they have won just four points from away games and are languishing 19^th in the Premier League table. Relegation looms large on Mike Phelan’s side as they face Mauricio Pochettino’s men in game week 16.

Team News:

Moussa Dembele appeared to have picked up a knock at Old Trafford on Sunday and is doubtful to start the game. Erik Lamela has still not recovered from his hip injury while Ben Davies has resumed training.

Pochettino does not have a lot of injury concerns going into the game. Eric Dier could return to the starting line-up and even Harry Winks could get a shot at first-team football.

Mike Phelan could be lining up a 3-5-1-1 formation much like he did against Crystal Palace. The Tigers do not have any major injury concerns in defence and midfield. However, the options up front seem to be limited.

Markus Henriksen is the only viable alternative for Robert Snodgrass and Adama Diomande with Abel Hernandez and Will Keane both ruled out with hernia and knee injuries respectively while Dieumerci Mbokani is suspended for the game. Moses Odubajo (knee), Alex Bruce (Achilles) and Greg Luer (knee) are also sidelined for the match.
