Tottenham Transfers: 3 Bargain Striking Partners For Harry Kane

Share

North London side Tottenham have done really well this season in both the Premier League and the Europa League as well. Spurs have been the team in form this season, as they have not lost a game since the opening day of the league season against Manchester United. However, there is still scope for improvement within Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

In order to challenge for titles, the Premier League outfit can add more high-quality players once the transfer window is open once again.

Keeping that in mind, here are three strikers who will come relatively cheap and could play along with Harry Kane.

3. Saido Berahino:

The English striker is currently at West Brom and was previously linked with a move to Spurs though the Baggies are not letting go of him, due to which the deal did not materialize back then. However, the club might now consider a move once again for the 22-year-old attacker if they want to add yet another man up front to their squad.

Berahino could be a good partner to Kane as he has scored 22 goals in 80 games, though whether he can replace his compatriot or not remains to be seen surely.2. Dwight Gayle:

The 26-year-old Crystal Palace striker has been a good player since joining the club in 2013 and has scored 12 goals in 55 matches so far. He could surely come handy if a move is completed though once again he would not be at the level of Harry Kane definitely.

Though there is no doubt that he would make a good acquisition, there is no guarantee that he will be able to really hit it off for the Londoners instantly, though Spurs might be willing to take that risk if Kane does depart.

1. Breel Embolo:

The £21m rated Swiss international is yet another striker, who could be signed by Spurs if they need more quality to their squad. The Basel man was linked with a move to north London previously as per reports, though now it seems that not one but two City rivals might be interested in his services.

The recent speculations talk about Arsenal’s interest in the 18-year-old superstar’s services as well though no official bids have been made and an intense battle for his signature could be on the cards soon. However, it will be a tough fight and either side could eventually end up signing him in the new year.
