Even though we admire players with amazing technique like Zidane, Ronaldinho, Messi, Ronaldo etc…., there are some players who can just terrorize opponents with out such high level of  technique and skills. Yes, they can give goosebumps for defenders just by their sheer pace and blistering acceleration.

Let’s see who are the top three fastest players in the premier league.

3. Aaron Lennon – Tottenham – 33.8 km/h

Even though his career is marred by unfortunate injuries, Aaron Lennon can still terrorize fullbacks with his high-speed turns and darting runs. The Leeds United academy product joined the North London side in 2005.

2.  Antonio Valencia – Manchester United – 35.2 km/h

Even though some reports claim that he is the fastest in the world, it is still believed that he is just behind another player in the premier league (see next page). Anyway United’s former no 7 have tremendous pace, physical strength and crossing abilities, combined, making him a beast from right wing. Valencia is also versatile enough to play as a right defender when the situation demands it.

1.  Theo Walcott – Arsenal – 35.7 km/h

“Catch me if you can”

Not a tough guess to find out the winner right? Yes, its Arsenal speedster Theo Walcott who takes the speed crown of the premier league. He can finish, he can run at defenders and if he beats the offside trap, not many defenders in the world can catch him.  Walcott has been clocked at 10.4 for the 100 meters. Amazing!
