Top 3 Leicester City Players Who Could Move To Better Clubs

Share

Leicester City have now had 6 wins from their last 7 games, they are the form team in the Premier League and all but have secured their safety from relegation this season. The performances in the end of the season have been astonishing from the club and have been one of the reasons why they somehow could manage to survive after being rock bottom of the Premier League for quite a while. Next season could be a different story for the club as with every small club, they could lose out their top players and we look at 3 players from Leicester who could be moving to a top 4 club next season.

Riyad Mahrez

The Algerian winger has been one of the best attacking players for the club and has tormented quite a few defences throughout the season. Mahrez joined the club from Le Havre in 2014 and has been a star for them, he has played 47 games for the club and has scored 7 goals for the club, that may not be a great return for an attacker, but he is known more for his ability to play down the wing and cross the ball in. Mahrez is a tricky customer and is quick as well, a perfect addition to any club who wants an orthodox winger, who loves working up and down the flank.

Leonardo Ulloa

The Argentine was responsible for Leicester’s brilliant start to the season before he got hit by the Premier League’s toughness and his goal scoring feats dried down a bit. Ulloa still has scored 12 goals this season and while he may not be the greatest striker in the Premier League he is an ideal target man who can win a lot of headers and can also do the dirty work in the top end of the field. If any club is looking for a striker who wants to run about and make the life of the defenders a massive problem, Ulloa is the man.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy

How quickly does fortune turn for a player, Vardy was playing non-league football for Fleetwood town in 2012 and a couple of years later he is playing for Leicester City in the Premier League. Vardy is the costliest non-league player in the history of the English game and he has repaid Leicester with the goals that propelled them to the Premier League. He has scored only 4 goals this season but again it is his work rate up front which makes the difference for the club. A hard worker and a tireless runner, Vardy would do wonders for any team, while he may not break into the starting line-up but he would be handy from the substitutes bench.
