Tottenham Hotspur cemented their place in the top-four with a 1-0 win against London rivals Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Centre-back Juan Foyth made amends to his poor form by notching up the only goal of the game which ultimately handed Spurs all three points. Moussa Sissoko once again impressed as he is showing a surge in his recent form.
Palace struggled to create much going forward as the Eagles’ poor form in front of the goal continued. A win keeps Tottenham at 4th place, level on points with Chelsea and Liverpool.
Made two splendid late saves to deny Alexander Sorloth and Jordan Ayew. The Frenchman did well in this game after coming under increased scrutiny over the last few weeks.
The right-back lasted just the first quarter before coming off injured. He has been defensively energetic and Spurs will definitely be worried about his fitness.
