West Ham United held their nerve to ultimately settle for a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium. Manuel Pellegrini’s men started the game on the front foot and took an early lead through Fabian Balbuena in the first half. But a red card to captain Mark Noble turned the tide in the Foxes’ favour.
The Hammers looked set to seal three points only for Wilfred Ndidi’s deflected effort fly into the top corner.
Made a number of fine saves and ensured the Hammers at least got a point out of it. He was unlucky to concede the one goal.
Was slightly sloppy with his defending and lucky not to be sent off. He picked up a yellow card in the process.
Balbuena was superb on the night and defended his heart out. He scored the Hammers’ only goal.
Diop was often troubled by Vardy and was unable to handle the English striker. He was strong in the first half though.
Failed to provide going forward and was easily beaten by Marc Albrighton on the left wing.
Rice distributed the ball well and defended impressively. He did give away possession on a couple of occasions.
Not a top performance from the midfielder but was neat and tidy in possession. He linked up well going forward.
A horrible challenge from the West Ham captain got him a red card. He looked shaky right from the start.
Came close on one or two occasions and supplied well going forward. However, nothing really materialised.
Anderson tracked back well and supported the defence well. He couldn’t do much going forward though.
The Mexican had a poor game and barely managed to threaten Leicester’s goal.
Troubled the Leicester backline after coming on and almost scored the winning goal.
