Sky Sports Reports On Racism – A Shocking 56 Counts Of Racism In A Single Game!

Sky Sports have a made a documentary about racism, filming fan chant during different games across England and according to the documentary, Millwall F.C had the highest number of fans who were calling out names on Black and Asian players.

Sky sports came up with this idea after Marvin Anthony Sordell,  a Bolton Wanderers striker complained about Millwall fans that he was racially abused. A 13-year old Millwall fan was banned for life for verbally abusing Sordell.

When Milwall played Leeds United, arguably one of the biggest games in the lower leagues, Leeds and Senegal striker El Hadji Diouf was abused 56 times. Yes, 56 counts of racism at one game and astonishingly not one was arrested. It seems everyone from the players to the match officials are being silenced over the issue.

It is only after this video has been published, the FA are taking actions. The Football association are currently investigating the issue and Leeds United have been contacted to ask for El Hadji Diouf’s version of events. This will be a part of the investigation and if proved guilty those fans could receive a life time ban from the club and a jail time as well.

An FA statement said: “We were concerned by the video footage and we have requested a copy for our full consideration. We will work with all the relevant authorities including the police to investigate fully.”
