Tomas Rosicky may just have played his last game for Arsenal when he came on as a substitute in FA Cup game against Burnley last weekend.
Rosicky sustained a thigh injury during the match and has been having tests and scans to check the severity of his injury. As such recent reports state that this injury will render the player out of action for a long term and Arsenal on the other hand, may be letting the player go at the end of the season.
The 35 year old midfielder may find it tough to establish himself as before, he has been facing many injuries and is struggling to stay fit. Rosicky has so far played 170 premier league matches for Arsenal and even though Wenger seems to be upset with the player suffering injuries on continuous basis, he may be letting Rosicky go.
“He’s such a good player but his career has been disrupted by so many injuries. He’s 35, it’s difficult for him.”
“He warmed up well, for 20 minutes. He’s devastated. Unbelievable. He said, ‘I stayed on because you’d used your substitutes and couldn’t change anymore.”
With Elneny’s entry into the club there may be many changes in the Gunners’ midfield, while Rosicky seems to be non-existent in midfield after his first game of the season.
