The Blues have added a new name in their list of targets and that is of Steve Mandanda from Ligue 1.
“Abroad would be something good at 31.It would be a nice adventure on both a sporting and a personal level. The two leagues that interest me most are the Premier League and La Liga.”-Mandanda
According to the reports from the Guardian, Mandanda is earmarked as a potential target in the summer transfer window. The goalkeeper is set to leave Marseille as he has expressed interest to move out of the Ligue 1 and go abroad.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to make major changes into his squad for 2016-2017 campaign and seems like Mandanda is a replacement for Begovic who moved to Chelsea in a £8million deal from Stoke City last summer.
Reports suggest that the terms have been discussed for the player, who has also attracted interest from Crystal Palace, who have been alerted of the player’s availability this summer.
At 31, Mandanda is looking for a move out of Marseille and his most favourable destination will be the Premier League or the La Liga as he himself has stated.
