Share

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao did not have a good season so far and as such things did not seem to go according to the players plans.

Athletico Madrid and Valencia were linked with the player for a long time. Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes had been looking for a way out for the player. While both the clubs were linked with the player neither were ready to move ahead with the deal due to Falcao’s uncertain fitness.

Athletico Madrid did not agree for the move as Jackson Martinez was still in the club however he decided to move the very next day to China. While reports also suggest that Falcao, who has been looking to escape from Chelsea, failed a medical exam due to which he was not able to join Athletico Madrid.

Falcao was earlier one of the best strikers in the world however during his time at AS Monaco, he sustained severe knee injury which resulted into messing the player’s future altogether.
