Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace haven’t been push overs like what most people expected. But Spurs have exceeded their expectations too. Its the battle of two teams punching above their weight and one side of London is going to be rejoicing mostly at the end of this game.
Frenchman Hugo Lloris will be back in between the sticks, though the Dutchman, Vorm had an amazing game against Leicester in the FA Cup replay. Lloris would be hoping he’d get a clean sheet too like his colleague.
Walker, who was deputized as the captain in the replay may not start against Palace, Trippier should take the role due to Pochetino’s rotation policy. Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen will be the centre backs again after being rested out in the replay. Davies had a great game too, but Rose should be back in the line up.
Eric Dier started at CB in the replay but should get back to the CDM role that he’s so efficiently played this whole season so far. Alongside should be Dembele, who has been a revelation this season and capped of a brilliant game against Sunderland with a goal to his name. He’d be looking to add to his tally.
Erik Lamela played two games in a row, so mostly will sit out this game. Son who had a good game should start down the right flank with Delle Alli in the center and Eriksen down the left. That should be the front trio behind the main striker, Harry Kane who has scored 2 from the penalty spot recently and though had a good game in the replay, didn’t really score from open play. Should try to get that out of his way as soon as possible.
A good game ahead for us neutrals, I’d say a 2-1 or 3-1 win for the North Londoners!
