Serie A Club Director Has Confirmed That They Want To Complete This Transfer With Chelsea

Share

Chelsea squad may face a completely different look by the end of the transfer season. However, it looks like that some things may remain as it is, just like Juan Cuadrado being at Juventus.

The Colombian spent last season at Turin and impressed the management and the fans. While there has been speculation about the player’s future, the Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has admitted that the club likes Cuadrado a lot and is looking to take him on loan again.

The question every Chelsea fans must be asking is if Juventus likes him so much why don’t they just take him permanently? The Italian champions recently sold Pogba for a world record fee and while the majority of that money have been spent on Higuain, the club should be able to afford Cuadrado on a permanent deal.

Baffling it may be, the Juventus director’s interview with Sky Sports only makes the matter more confusing. He said, “A small opportunity has opened up again. We are keeping a close eye on the situation, with all due respect for Chelsea, who still own the player’s rights. Cuadrado is a player we like a lot. He has already had a positive experience at Juventus last season.”
