It seems that former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is not having the best of times at new club Fenerbahce, which can be confirmed by some recent footage. The 32-year-old superstar left Old Trafford to complete his move to Turkey in the summer window, after failing to capture a regular first team spot under manager Louis van Gaal.
Van Persie had openly talked about his unhappiness, due to the lack of action at Fener, after he managed to make just five appearance for the Turkish side this season so far.
It seems now that the Dutch attacker has totally given up on football entirely, as per a recent video and the fact that he voiced what he felt has destroyed his relationship with manager Vitor Pereira.
Taking to Lig TV, the striker had said, “To be honest, I am not very happy at this moment.”
“I was not happy that I started on the bench. I am fully fit, physically very well and able to play for 90 minutes.”
“The only right answer I could give was with what I did: helping the team to get the victory.”
