Predicted Manchester United lineup vs Yeovil Town

Manchester United could only manage a draw as Stoke City held firm on a windy day at the Britannia Stadium. While a point is nothing to be sneered at given the match was played at Britannia Stadium, the fact that it was a third draw in a row in the Premier league will be of some concern to Louis Van Gaal. Next up is the F.A. Cup and League 1 strugglers Yeovil Town. We expect the Dutch manager to make a whole host of changes given the busy festive period the club has had to endure. Here at Soccersouls, this is our Manchester United lineup against the League 1 strugglers.

Louis Van Gaal

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

David De Gea has been in splendid for for the Reds but the F.A. Cup means that there will be some changes in the team and David De Gea looks primed to be replaced by Anders Lindegaard under the sticks.

Defence: Luke Shaw, Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett, Chris Smalling, Rafael

With Ashley Young picking up an injury there cannot be any doubt that Rafael will have to take his place. Apparently Luke Shaw is fine despite the early injury which means he is fine to start at left wing back. Also this match will give Louis Van Gaal a chance to field the youngster Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair who will be partnerd along with Chris Smalling in central defence.

Midfield: Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney, Adnan Januzaj

In midfield too we can expect to see wholesale changes with rest given to both Juan Mata and Michael Carrick. Ander Herrera will get a chance to impress as the deep lying midfielder while the young Belgian Adnan Januzaj will get a chance to impress from the start. Wayne Rooney will also yet agains start and look to impress from the midfield.

Forward: Falcao, James Wilson

Falcao was subbed off in the hour mark against Stoke City and it would be safe to presume that he will start against in the F.A. Cup on Sunday. Robin Van Persie will be given the day off which means that the young James Wilson has the chance to impress.
