Rose And Son To Start – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Line-Up To Face Swansea

Share

Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side are slowly losing ground at the top of the table as they gifted all three points to their London rivals Chelsea in the previous round of the Premier League. They are back in action this week as they take on Bob Bradley’s Swansea at the White Hart Lane. Swansea and its manager are fighting for survival in the Premier League and the 5-4 result against Crystal Palace last weekend will give them a boost ahead of this trip to London. Spurs have won just one of their last 6 games in the league and are in desperate need of some results and it will be interesting to see if they can brush aside the Swans who are struggling in the relegation zone.

Here is the predicted lineup that Pochettino might field for this game:

Team News:

Pochettino will miss the likes of Ben Davis and Erik Lamela for this game against Swansea. Toby Alderweireld is back in training but might not be risked for this game while Danny Rose is expected to be back in the starting lineup after serving his one-game suspension at the Bridge last weekend.

Hugo Lloris:

The Frenchman has been the first choice shot-stopper for the manager and should keep his place in the side for this game against Swansea.

Kyle Walker:

The English full-back has been providing below-par performances recently and Pochettino will hope that he can find some form this weekend.

Eric Dier:

The versatile defender has been decent at the heart of the defence and should continue to start for Spurs till Alderweireld is match fit.

Jan Vertonghen:

The senior defender in his partner’s absence, Vertonghen has found it hard to lead the defensive line for the side but should have a rather comfortable night against Swansea.

Danny Rose:

Coming back from a suspension, Rose should be fresh, fit and ready for this game against Swansea and will hope to have an effect on the scoreline.

Mousa Dembele:

The Belgian has put in some impressive performances in the midfield of the side and should be at the top of his game to break down the Swans this weekend.

Victor Wanyama:

Providing some much-needed resistance to his back line in crunch games, Wanyama should have a more free-floating role in this game against Swansea.

Christian Eriksen:

The attacking midfielder has not been able to find consistency in his game this season but he will have an important role to play for his side in this encounter.

Dele Alli:

The English midfielder would want to be more effective in front of goal that he has been recently and will have to do better if Spurs are to take all three points from this game.

Heung Min-Son:

The Korean international has not been at his best recently but he is an impact player and Pochettino will hope that he can deliver the goods this weekend.

Harry Kane:

The young English attacker is the sole provider of goals for the side and he will have to be at his best if Tottenham are to take all the points from the fixture.
