Robinho Receives A Prize From AC Milan Cheif Galliani

Share

Robinho was awarded with a prize due to having played 100 official matches for Milan. The Brazilian player reached that target last weekend when he replaced El Shaarawy in the second half of the match against Sampdoria at the Marassi as the match ended 0-0.

Galliani handed over the prize to Robinho yesterday at Milanello after the club’s training session.

“We’re here to give an award to another centenarian for this club. 100 official matches in two and a half years is a lot – it’s an average of 40 games per year. It’s good in terms of both quality and quantity. I hope that you will reach 500 official matches for Milan. Congratulations, Robinho”, declared Galliani.

Robinho who was all set to leave Milan along with his Brazilian team mate Pato, will remain in Milan as his contract talks with Brazilian club Santos came to a stand still. Talking after he received the prize from Galliani, he said:

“I’m proud and happy to have reached this target. It’s not easy to reach 100 matches for Milan. I hope that the coach will let me play a bit more, so that I can reach 200 or 300 matches for Milan.”

In Coppa Italia: 8 matches and 2 goals.

In the Italian Super Cup: 1 match. No goals yet.
