Chelsea’s current season is not what one would call a satisfactory season. Post Guus Hiddink’s arrival and Mourinho’s departure from the club, things have changed in a positive manner for the Blues, however this does not discount the fact that the Blues will need to overhaul their entire squad with Antonio Conte taking up the managerial position.
Chelsea’s long term target Paul Pogba has demanded a £300,000 a week to move from Juventus in the summer. Pogba developed as Europe’s one of the best midfielders post leaving Manchester United in 2012 and has been linked with a move back to the premier league for some time now.
While Chelsea will be facing competition from Manchester City for the signature of the player, Pogba would only consider a move back to the Premier League if he is offered a £300,000 a week wage structure.
