Reportedly Arsenal’s loan offers for Miroslav Klose and Kalou were instantly rejected on the deadline day.
According to Mirror, Klose desperately wanted a move to Arsenal in order to increase his chances of participating in the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, but Lazio rejected the offer.
These reports also claimed that Klose held talks with Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski about Arsenal and London Life. Arsenal were even ready to offer 2 million GBP as a loan fee, but the move collapsed as Lazio were adamant in their stand.
