The Light Blues are on the verge of clinching their Reserves league title this season.

I think the guys are doing a good job at the academy.

“Winning the reserve league and winning the youth cup, I don’t want this to come out the wrong way, but it’s not the priority for me.

It’s where’s the next Ross McCrorie? Where’s the next Glenn Middleton? They’re the players that are going to help us achieve things with the first-team and that’s the priority.

McCrorie has made 17 appearances for the Gers main team in the Premiership this season after impressing in the U-23 side.

The defensive midfielder also captains the Scotland U-21 team.

Middleton is another prospect who has earned his place in the first- team this season, aged 19.

He has scored 3 goals and three assists so far and was pushed to the reserves squad earlier this year.

The Scottish winger has been integral for the reserves, playing a key role in his side’s successful run.

Middleton has netted in some brilliant goals, which has prompted fans to see him play with the first-team.

The Light Blues are currently second in the Premiership table, trailing the Hoops by 9 points.
