Spurs had yet another frustrating week as they backed up their dull draw against Leicester City last weekend with a loss at home against Bayer Leverkusen in their group stage clash in the Champions League. They are now winless in the last 5 games in all competitions and are now slowly losing ground in the race to the top of the table. They face a crunch tie this weekend as they travel to the Emirates to meet an inform Arsenal side to revive their North London rivalry. It is a game that divides the city and is sure to produce some electric action. A win here will give Spurs a huge leap over Arsenal and Pochettino.

Here is the lineup Pochettino might field at the Emirates:

Team News:

The manager will miss the services of Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld both of whom are still nursing injuries. Ben Davies is ruled out for this game while Mousa Dembele will be assessed, but the manager has confirmed that Harry Kane will be in the Tottenham squad. Furthermore, Moussa Sissoko will be serving his ban for the fixture.

Hugo Lloris:

The first choice shot-stopper for Spurs, Lloris will keep his place in the side and will hope to have a productive game on the night.

Kyle Walker:

The English international was decent in the midweek game against the German opposition and should start this game at right-back for the Spurs.

Eric Dier:

Having put in some decent performances in the absence of Alderweireld, Dier will start his third game in 8 days for the side as a center back this weekend.

Jan Vertonghen:

The organizer at the back for the Spurs in the absence of his partner, Vertonghen will yet again be alongside Eric Dier, at the heart of the defense for Pochettino.

Danny Rose:

After being rested for the Champions League game, Rose will be back in action to face their bitter rivals Arsenal this weekend.

Mousa Dembele:

The Belgian is one of the first names on the team sheet when fit and he should keep his place in the squad for this game.

Victor Wanyama:

The former Southampton man has been decent for the side this season and should have more than a decent game this weekend for Spurs to stand a chance at even a point from this game.

Christian Eriksen:

The creative midfielder for Spurs has been drawing blanks in the last few game and he will have to be at his best for his side on their trip to the Emirates.

Dele Alli:

The English international will once again be used in a number 10 role and will have to play a huge role if the Spurs are to take all three points from this game.

Heung-Min Son:

The goals have dried up for the Korean who will now be used as a winger to bring in a goal scorer for the side for this game.

Harry Kane:

Finally, something to cheer for Spurs’ fans. After missing number of fixture, the English international will be back in the line-up and hence, goals can be expected right away. Remember his stunner in the Previous derby?
