With a £100 million transfer kitty reportedly available with Arsene Wenger, it is sure that the Arsenal manger would like to build on his recent FA Cup success. And there are some fresh reports in the media suggesting that Wenger is ready to move in for the French International Antoine Griezmann who could cost up-to £18million for the Gunners.
Having been linked with Arsenal for sometime now, Griezmann could prove to be a vital addition for a team which lacks some serious attacking threat from their front-men. The forward has been included in Didier Deschamps’s World Cup squad and should he perform to his capability, his price could skyrocket by the end of the tournament. While Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Soceidad’s Carlos Vela, it would be interesting to see whom Wenger chooses out of the two.
Meanwhile Arsenal stars, Laurent Koscielny, Bacary Sagna and Olivier Giroud are currently in France training with the national team before their friendlies against Paraguay and Jamaica next month after which they will travel to Brazil to face Honduras in their first Group E fixture.
Here is the picture of Koscielny who greets his French colleague Antoine Griezmann.
