Arsenal have confirmed that striker Yaya Sanogo has joined Championship side Charlton on a loan deal until the end of the season.
After loan spells with Crystal Palace last season and Ajax at the start of this season, the French striker has found it difficult to get into any sort of form as he is in and out of the team. As Charlon needed reinforcements in their attacking positions, Arsenal have managed to end Sanogo’s loan deal with Ajax and send him to the Championship.
Wenger will be hoping that the 23-year old would get regular game time and develop his game before the summer transfer window when his future will be accessed once again.
Sanogo, has managed to score just a single goal for the Gunners from his 20 appearances in all competitions and was a part of the FA Cup winning team back in 2014.
