Pay £15m And The Player Is Yours: Club Ready To Sell Defensive Target To Chelsea

Share

Chelsea are looking out to sign Simon Kjaer from the Turkish side as the player is one of the main targets for incoming manager Antonio Conte.

The player is one of the key players for the Turkish side since his move from Lille last summer at £6m. However, according to the Fanatik, Fenerbahce may be forced to let go of the 26 year old player.

While Chelsea are keen on signing Kjaer, the player’s price tag has been set on £15m by the Turkish club. The player has three years still left on his contract at Istanbul.

Kjaer is one of the players whom incoming manager Antonio Conte has included in his plans to revamp Chelsea next season, as he looks to bring in at least one Central midfielder into the squad.

As such Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill are the only two out-to-out center-backs with first team experience, while John Terry, who signed an extended deal with the Blues is expected to take on a reduced role next term.
