Brighton won their third consecutive match in the Premier League after edging Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-0 victory at the Amex on Saturday.
A second-half strike from Glenn Murray proved to be the difference between the two sides and despite Nuno’s men throwing the kitchen sink, Wolves couldn’t find the equaliser and made their way back home without a single point.
Ryan was a beast between the sticks as he made some crucial saves, including a fabulous reaction save to deny Bennett an injury-time equaliser.
It was his mishit that fell kindly to Murray, who instinctively directed the ball into the goal from seven yards. Bruno was extra vigilant in defence after the break as Wolves chased the equaliser.
Kept things tight at the back. Came close to scoring a couple of times in the first-half.
Was a rock at the back alongside Duffy. Dunk was aerially dominant, heading Neves’ goal-bound free-kick away in the second half.
Bong kept wing-back Matt Doherty in check for the entire game. He defended very well and got forward with purpose at times.
Couldn’t get into the groove of the game, but he tried hard to make things happen in the final third.
Worked hard in the middle of the park. A decent display from Stephens.
Like his midfield partner, Kayal worked extremely hard and broke up the play well.
Always tried to make things happen by driving at the Wolves defenders. His pace and trickery made him a thorn for the opposition.
March picked up smart positions to create openings for his teammates. However, he couldn’t impact the game as much as he would have liked to and was substituted with 20 minutes left in the game.
Murray was at the right place at the right time to poke home the game’s only goal, which was his 100th for the club.
Came on for the final 20 minutes of the game but didn’t do anything noteworthy.
Got very little time to make an impact on the game.
